The study received the Advanced Materials Sponsored Poster Award at the 2025 Korean Institute of Metals and Materials (KIM) conference. In recognition of its excellence, the work was also invited for submission to Advanced Materials (IF = 26.8, top 2.3% in the field), a leading journal in materials science.

Prof. Jaehong Lee and two students, Hwajoong and Jinho, visited the University of Calgary in Canada to collaborate with the Human Performance Lab (led by Prof. Walter Herzog) as part of our ongoing international partnership.
For this exciting and ambitious collaboration, we conducted a high-quality animal experiment, as well as thorough ex vivo and bench-top tests.
It was a wonderful experience to explore the excellent research facilities at the University of Calgary and to work together with outstanding researchers!

Prof. Lee delivered an invited talk at the Korean Institute of Metals and Materials 2025 conference held in Gwangju, Korea. His presentation focused on biocompatible and biodegradable fiber electronic sensors for healthcare applications.

Prof. Lee delivered an invited talk at the Korean Sensors Society 2025 conference held in Yeosu, Korea. His presentation focused on electronic suture for biomechanical applications.

Prof. Lee delivered an invited talk at the Materials Oceania 2025 conference held in Seoul, Korea. His presentation focused on electronic device for biomechanical applications.

In recognition of our outstanding research achievements and scholarly contributions, Prof. Lee was honored with the DGIST Award for Excellence in Research.
