Research fund granted

Our team has been selected for the Young Scientist Grants (Outstanding track) funded by National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) with the title "Suturable and biodegradable fiber strain/pressure sensing system for improvement of connective tissue rehabilitation". Our team will get 750 million KRW for 5 years from the project.
2021년 신진연구 (우수신진) 신규 과제에 SoBiLab이 최종 선정되어 5년간 7.5억을 지원받아 연구를 수행하게 되었습니다. (과제명: 결합조직 재활 효율 극대화를 위한 직접 봉합용 체내분해 섬유형 무선 변형/압력 센싱 시스템 개발)

The paper "Soft Electronics Based on Stretchable and Conductive Nanocomposites for Biomedical Applications" has been published in Advanced Healthcare Materials (Impact factor: 7.367).

Our team has been selected for Korean Medical Devices Developement Fund with the title "Rehabilitation Enhancement using Lubricated Immune Evasive Functional Electronic Suture (RELIEF E-Suture)". Our team will get 250 million KRW for 2.5 years from the fund.

Our newest member, Hwajoong Kim, has started for his joint M.S. and Ph.D. studies. Hwajoong has graduated from Yonsei Univ. with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He will work on soft actuators aiming to wearable robotics.
